In celebration of the generous cashback rewards earned with its Platinum Cashback Cards, American Express wanted to create an exclusive event that raised awareness of the cash back product and aligned the brand with a socially mobile audience. American Express has a history of well chosen event sponsorship and media support and this had to offer the same exceptional standards.
We decided to stage an intimate show with a difference. All ticket holders attending the 900 capacity gig were given their ‘Cashback’ on the £30 ticket price in the form of a £30 American Express Gift Card® which they could then choose to keep or donate to the international charity War Child to help continue their work overseas.
Live Nation Experiential produced the entire event and also booked the talent, including Paloma Faith and Nina Nesbitt.
